For this personal project, I created an interactive online type specimen for Proxima Nova. With eight distinct weights in the typeface family, I developed a concept that pairs each weight with one of the planets in our solar system.
The universe has always fascinated me as a source of visual storytelling, and NASA's publicly available imagery provided the perfect foundation for the project. I explored three different type widths across each planetary composition, creating layouts that are individually distinctive while maintaining a cohesive visual system throughout the specimen.
